Mongolian Orders, produced in very limited quantities on Soviet Mints during 1926-1959, are arguably among the most beautiful awards ever made. Constructed from precious metals with intricate use of multi-color enamels, and composed of multitude of parts, their design is massive and complex, bringing a true joy to the phaleristic aficionados. Until only a few years ago, there were virtually no information on Mongolian Orders, their manufacturing issues and types. Latest and very recommended published work on a subject is "The Orders and Medals of the Mongolian People's Republic (1924-1992)", 2010, by Khuujii Urnukh, which has the most up to date information, as well as great illustrations. So, HAPPY COLLECTING!!!
